Team members and team leaders will be accommodated in four of the boarding houses on the Shrewsbury
School campus - the ‘School Site’. This will give team leaders easy access to their teams both day and
night.
Accommodation
All the boarding houses at Shrewsbury School have been refurbished to a high standard. Each house is
different in character but all offer a high degree of comfort. All the houses provide an area where the
students can relax once away from the physics fights. Each house has wired network points for every
student and wireless Internet in communal areas.
Independent Jury members and visitors will be accommodated in the town itself. Most will stay at the Lion
Hotel The Lion dates back to the 16th century; to a time when horse drawn coaches would clatter through
the old streets of Shrewsbury into this ancient coaching inn. The entrance arch is still there to the right of
the main public entrance.
